The BW-4040FR Fouling Resistant RO Membrane Element is specially designed for challenging feedwater conditions where organic fouling, biological contamination, and suspended solids can significantly reduce membrane performance. Utilizing advanced aromatic polyamide thin-film composite technology, this membrane provides superior fouling resistance, high salt rejection, and excellent cleaning recovery for long-term operation.
The FR Series membrane incorporates a specially modified membrane surface with enhanced hydrophilicity, optimized surface charge characteristics, and improved smoothness. These features help reduce the adsorption of contaminants and inhibit microorganism attachment, resulting in lower fouling rates and more stable system performance.
Its 34-mil feed spacer design improves flow distribution, facilitates membrane cleaning, minimizes pressure drop, and extends membrane service life. The BW-4040FR is ideal for reclaimed water treatment, wastewater recycling, RO concentrate treatment, and industrial process water applications with feedwater salinity below 10,000 mg/L.
